Refund Policy

At Furniture 4 Life, every project we complete is crafted with care and made to your unique requirements. Because of the bespoke nature of our fitted kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and custom furniture, our refund policy differs from standard online shopping.

1. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

  • Most of our products are custom-built to your exact measurements and specifications.

  • Under UK consumer law, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply once design approval and manufacturing have begun.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded after production has started unless the goods are faulty.

2. Cancellations Before Production

  • You may cancel your order before design approval and production commence.

  • If materials have already been purchased, your deposit may be partially or fully non-refundable.

  • We will confirm any deductions before processing the cancellation.

3. Faulty or Damaged Goods

  • If your goods arrive damaged, incomplete, or faulty, please notify us within 7 days of delivery or installation.

  • We will inspect the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • This does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

4. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of agreement.

  • Refunds may be reduced if deductions apply for work already carried out, materials ordered, or services provided.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Bespoke and made-to-measure products once production has started.

  • Clearance or ex-display items sold “as seen.”

  • Services already performed (e.g. surveys, design consultations) if completed before cancellation.
