At Furniture 4 Life, we don’t just deliver furniture — we deliver complete fitted solutions. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we handle the delivery, installation, and collection of our fitted kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and custom-made furniture.

1. Delivery Areas

  • We currently deliver and install across Dundee & Angus, Perth and Aberdeen.

  • If you are outside our standard service area, please contact us for a tailored quotation.

2. Delivery Methods

  • Bespoke & Fitted Products: All fitted kitchens, wardrobes, and bathrooms include delivery and professional installation by our team or approved contractors.

  • Crafted Furniture (Standalone): Larger standalone items (e.g. tables, cabinets) are delivered by our team. Delivery may include assembly on-site where required.

  • Small Accessories or Add-Ons: Delivered via trusted courier partners.

3. Delivery Costs

  • Delivery and installation charges are confirmed during your quotation and included in your final order summary.

  • For larger projects, delivery is usually bundled into the overall cost of the supply and installation.

  • Additional charges may apply for difficult access (e.g. high-rise buildings without lifts, narrow staircases).

4. Delivery Timescales

  • Because our products are bespoke and made-to-order, delivery timescales will vary depending on design, materials, and production lead times.

  • Estimated timescales will be provided at the point of order and confirmed again once production begins.

  • We will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery and installation date once your order is ready.

5. Receiving Your Delivery

  • Customers (or a nominated person aged 18+) must be present to receive delivery.

  • Before installation, we ask that your property is accessible and ready (e.g. clear entryways, existing furniture removed if required).

  • If delivery or installation cannot be completed due to access issues or site readiness, additional charges may apply for redelivery.

6. Delays

  • We make every effort to deliver within the agreed timeframe, but occasionally delays may occur due to supplier shortages, transport issues, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • If this happens, we will inform you promptly and provide a revised timescale.

  • We are not liable for delays outside of our reasonable control.

7. Damage During Delivery

  • Our team takes great care during transportation and installation.

  • If any damage occurs in transit or during installation, please notify us immediately so we can arrange a repair, replacement, or suitable resolution.

8. International Delivery

  • At present, we do not offer international shipping or installation.
